This is bullshit. Who cares if the game has music with some Muslim Garbage in it.
Muslims.
Are Muslims generally offended by it? Isn't the original author of the music Muslim?
First they try to install a secret muslim as a president, now they've delayed a game by one week!
Glad to see you're still at the top of your game Galt.

That's what I was thinking.
Well, this isn't the worst news. Now I have more time to finish Saints Row 2 and get through a good chunk of Fallout 3 or Fable 2 before this is out.
Well it looks like I'm playing Fallout 3 this week too.
Um, Galt. We've been talking about this in the official LBP thread for days.
It is only one week. I am sure we can all survive big guy.
If Matt can survive another week without LBP, then anybody can.
Are Muslims generally offended by it? Isn't the original author of the music Muslim?
Generally, this is a big no-no. I'd equate their thoughts on these kinds of things to the Byzantine Iconoclasm phase (which we went through, uh... a thousand years ago).
Most couldn't care less, but the hardliners really obsess over things like this. Besides, this would easily get the game banned in those places and no one would be able to enjoy anything.
I know that a game like this would have a lot of appeal out here, even though I seriously have no idea what this game is. Some kind of mechanical engineering cartoon simulator...
Oh Ed, you make baby GK cry.
The best way to describe it is 1 part next gen old school Mario 2d platformer with a co op twist and a physics engine. The other half of the game is a complete open source editor that allows for virtually anything you can dream of and all of that content is available for download and playing.
Yeah! Screw Muslim sensibilities, it's not a real religion anyways... those terrorists are invading my LBP!
Christianity & Judaism & America & LBP for the win, 4 evers!!!!
I don't think anyone's being overly brash about this. It is frustrating that it's delayed but late ethics-minded modifications happen all the time.
It's like a WWII game getting rid of swastikas so the game can be sold in Germany (swastikas are vurboten there).
Or, like ultra ethics-conservative Australia threatening to ban games like Bioshock and Fallout 3 for having injections. Fallout 3 actually changed the game universally so that it complied with Australian demands.
I don't see this as much different, really. When you're marketing something out to the entire world it's important to be sensible to everyone.
This is just funny because it's coming from Galt, though.
That and he didn't bother to check the Little Big Planet thread before making this one.
